Three Times a Charm Necklace Instructions and Kit

Description
Three Times a Charm would be my heart’s desire if it meant that’s how many times this design took to make into a cohesive design.Alas, that was just not the case.Three Times a Charm ended up being more like Ten Times a Charm as I tinkered with it to get it to look its best. The ending result is what I hoped for and so all is well.
The pendant for the necklace is three bezeled Chinese Lotus Stones attached to one another at just the right point creating a balanced and symmetrical look to the overall pendant design.Pearls are used for the attachments between each Lotus stone bringing a bit of luster and elegance to the design. The center point of the Lotus Stone pendant is a bezeled Chaton that adds a bit of sparkle.Twisted herringbone stitch is used to construct a soft and very flexible necklace strap. The ends of the necklace straps are finished off with a tubular peyote stitch.A separate component made up of tubular peyote stitch and embellished with a floweret connections the pendant to the necklace straps. The closure is a bezeled chaton which matches the bezeled chaton used for the center point of the pendant.
Skill Level – Intermediate - Overall the stitches used for this design are peyote stitch and twisted herringbone stitch.Students should have experience using both stitches.Twisted herringbone stitch will be taught in class.
